Business in the Community’s Awards for Excellence showcase the best of responsible business in action. They are the UK’s most influential, independent, peer assessed corporate responsibility awards. Now in their fifteenth year they are widely acknowledged as one of the most respected endorsements of responsible business.

BITC’s ways2work Award 2012 application process is now open for companies. The aim of the ways2work Award is to identify inspiring examples of sustainable commuting and business travel, as well as sustainable working and alternatives to travel, such as flexible and agile working. These inspiring stories can then be used to encourage and support other companies to take action.

Any private sector company with a presence in the UK is eligible to enter the award as well as any Business in the Community member or ways2work member (formerly known as The National Business Travel network), or Mayday Network member. The closing date for submitting your application is 6pm on 5 March 2012.
