American Water Issues First Full Corporate Responsibility Report

VOORHEES, N.J., Jul. 06 - American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE: AWK), the largest publicly traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company, announced today it issued its first full corporate responsibility report. This full report, which succeeds a partial report provided by the company in 2010, reaffirms American Water as the first U.S. water and wastewater company to report on environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance against Global Reporting Index (GRI) guidelines.
