Adventures of a Trike Trekker- Just a short Trek this Morning...
 It seems my trike likes to find the parks with the playgrounds. I think it's remembering a past life and misses the thrill of it all. I guess one has to be satisfied with just enjoying the fresh air, albeit still hot but cooler mornings, and beautiful desert and mountain scenery. This time it was Kings Park. I saw a baby rabbit! It made my day.
You know, Dennis and I have been talking about my carrying protection on my trike treks for, oh, what? Animals? Reptiles? People? Then the question came up of what kind of, er, ah, weapon? We're still discussing it, even tho' Verrado is quite safe. (I wonder if they make shotgun holsters for trikes. Can you see it now behind my seat?) Anyway, to prove the possible need for one, this morning I met a guy at the playground who said he could take me and my trike to higher places than I've ever experienced before. We'll, it seemed so enticing. I thought about it and then decided I just had to see what that was all about. Here's a photo of our adventure.
I knew there were a lot of crop fields in the area (I mean, we pass by them all the time), but seeing them from this perspective was certainly thrilling!
