baseballThis year, Father’s Day falls on June 19th, only 4 days away. For those of you scrambling to find the perfect gift, I’ve got just the one. The best gifts are those that are eco-friendly and what could be greener than making a gift yourself! Here are some great do-it-yourself gift ideas for this year’s Father’s Day!

Tool Belt

For the avid handyman, create a handmade tool bag from old materials or denim.

Bookmark

For the bookworm, create a unique bookmark with art supplies from your local crafts store or use items you have at home.

Hand painted glasses

Take some old glasses from your home and redecorate them. Use some glass paints and personalize a set of glasses for your dad.

Gift Bags

Create your own special gift bag to place a gift card or gift inside. Use materials from home and personalize it.

Key rack

Make your own key rack with a piece of wood and some key rings. Dad will love knowing where his keys are!

Baseball Cap

Personalize an old baseball cap or purchase a second hand cap and decorate it for Dad!

Mix tape/Playlist

For the music lover, update his iPod or make him a mix tape so that he’ll be able to listen to his favourite tunes all the time!

Photos

There are so many options for those wanting to create a gift with photos. You can make a collage, a scrapbook, a photo album- so matter what you choose, Dad will love looking at your piece of art!

Gift Basket

Fill a basket with all of Dad’s favourite things. He’ll love getting all of his favourite stuff!
