green tip white roofs good for summer heatwaveDon’t have anything to do this weekend? Paint yout roofs white!

The heat dome enclosing most of North America has left us sweltering in the hot weather. The temperatures in most North American cities have broken previous records. Want to avoid feeling that hot? Paint your roofs white and get rid of the black paint job on your roof.

White roofs deflect 70 percent more heat as compared to black roofs keeping temperatures lower. They create a cooling effect keeping the insides of home cooler by up to 30 degrees. It is one of the cheapest options to staying cool in hot weather since the deflection of sunlight results in lower air conditioning bills.
