Notorious oil company British Petroleum has once again derailed all chances of clearing their poor reputation after their infamous oil spill in the gulf of Mexico. BP has once again spilled oil in the Alaska tundra after a leaking pipeline let out up to 4200 gallons of oil this past Saturday.

Green Hotels not only help save resources but also save money in the process! It reduces energy and water bills as well as decreases costs in disposing off wastage. According to a recent study conducted by Cornell University 90% of all respondents were willing to pay a premium at green restaurants and hotels. Hence being green provides hotels with a profitable differentiating factor. Furthermore it increases the long term value of the property and hence the owners can demand a higher price when the property is sold since the value is enhanced by lower utility bills per square foot, healthier aspects and owner care.

In addition to launching Google+, Google also released an insightful report earlier this week, The Impact of Clean Energy Innovation. While the study acknowledges that change takes time, they do insist a supportive government would make a substantial difference for enforcing green policies. Google also set up an interactive website for users to test their own predictions and possible outcomes.

An new report reveals that industry regulators were well aware that the World's best-selling herbicide, 'Round Up' causes birth defects and other health issues. 'Round Up' is of course from the infamous company Monsanto, who controls 90% of the soybean market and invented such chemical warfare as 'Agent Orange'.
