The current global production has skyrocketed with most E-waste being produced in Europe, the United States and Australia. China, Eastern Europe and Latin America are expected to become major E-waste producers in the next ten years. Rapid technological change has seen the mass production of digital electronics each with a launched newer version to replace an outdated one.

As we go about our daily lives, few people ever stop to think about the amount of food we waste every day! FAO estimates that, of the 7 billion world population, 925 million are starving. It further estimates that more than 30% of the world's food production ends up as garbage. That puts the annual food waste at a staggering 1. 3 billion tons, which is in fact enough to feed 3 billion people.

If you watch the news in the US, you’ve probably noticed the struggle in certain states to require labeling on all foods that contain genetically modified organisms (GMO’s). Some people are genuinely scared of them just because they are not “natural”. However when you take a deeper look into the health effects of GMO’s, you can see that they’re not quite as scary as some people think. Let’s take a look.
