Nine whirling dervishes of light, symbols of the Sufi Path of Love, dance in formal gesture upon the yellow rose representing Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi’s divine presence. The flower opens in a spiral just as the dervishes whirl, turning from the center, beneath the setting sun.
