Organic Baby Products

The more we research what’s best for our babies, the more there is an emphasis on the importance of eco-friendly baby products. It is shocking to see how many carcinogens and harmful toxins can be found in common baby products- including bottles, diapers and bedding. A disturbing amount of toys (not to mention bottles) actually contain a percentage of lead, which in extreme cases can result in permanent brain damage caused by lead poisoning. BPA (Bisphenol A) is a notorious chemical found in plastics commonly used to create baby products. Not only is BPA a toxic carcinogen, it can harm our immune system, which is especially a problem for babies whose immune system haven’t fully developed. Considering that 60% of everything that touches our skin is absorbed- and knowing that babies stick absolutely everything in their mouths- it is best to stick to natural baby products as well as organic baby products to ensure you’re not exposing your baby to anything made using harmful dyes or chemicals. Eco-friendly products do more than reduce your ecological footprint, they are a safer, gentler, and can offer peace of mind.
