This is a hand woven rug made from the sock seconds of Solmate Socks. It is a generous 2'x4'. It is colorful vibrant, thick and soft! Beautiful in a kid's room, in the bathroom, in front of the sink, or anywhere that you want a splash of comfort and color!
In the spirit of recycling, which is what it is all about for me, Solmate Sock rugs are made from the sock seconds and textile waste that occurs in the production of Sol Mate Socks. Instead of sending all the socks that had imperfections, and all the toe clips cut off in seaming the toe, to the landfill, they get sent to Crazy as a Loom Weaving Studio. Thus begins the process of cutting up the defective socks, and looping them all together. Solmate Sock rugs come in many colors.
They are cotton, and the colors are vibrant. They are soft and wonderful to walk on. They are lime green, sage green, purple,lavender, rust, hot pink, orange, turquoise, royal blue, red and burgundy. |
