The Scouts base for this piece is an old elk antler, which is full of colorful mosses/lichens. The two Magpies are on the lookout for dinner. Magpies are known for sending scouts and calling the gang in on a prize find. Their long tails and reputations make great subjects for art.

These sculptures are all made with metal. Due to the natural qualities of steel and wire, oxidation will occur. The amount of oxidation can vary upon the sculptures placement ie: indoors vs. outdoors and humid rooms vs. dry rooms. To clean and/or remove oxidation or dust, we suggest a wire brush or steel wool, depending on the delicacy of the artwork.
