Apple Maggot Trap Kits are re-usable plastic traps used in orchards for detection of Apple Maggots. The two halves of the trap snap together and non-drying glue is brushed onto the surface of the ball. The trap is hung using an extended eyelet screwed into the top. The Red Ball trap attracts sexually mature female flies looking for a place deposit her eggs. The addition of an Apple Essence Lure enhances trap effectiveness.
