Be sure to remove the muslin bag from clean laundry before drying. Whole soap nuts will last for 4- 5 laundry loads. *For heavily soiled loads, gently crack open soap nut shells for a more potent, thorough clean. 2. Boil 12-15 whole Soap Nuts in 6 cups of water for 30 minutes. The liquid made will become a concentrated, chemical-free detergent. Use 3T. of this detergent per laundry load. Soap Nut liquid will last through approximately 30 loads of laundry. Leftover nutshells can be composted. Drying Instructions: Place the floral companion pack in dryer with cleaned laundry load and use as a dryer sheet alternative. Can be reused.
