Return Policy

We at Four Green Steps want your online experience to be enjoyable, simple and successful. To that end, we have created an ordering, shipping and payment process to make your life easy.

  • Unless otherwise stated on the product page, most items purchased are returnable.
  • You may return your purchase for any reason within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price excluding shipping and handling costs.
  • Items must be returned to the vendor's address, NOT to Four Green Steps. If you are unsure about where to return your package, please contact us.
  • Four Green Steps cannot refund any shipping costs unless the item you wish to return was not the product that you ordered and it was delivered to you by mistake.
  • Some items carry a restocking fee when returned. This fee will be deducted from your refund should you wish to make a return.
  • Please keep in mind that once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, round-trip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
  • Custom hand made to order products are NOT returnable.

All returned products must be in original condition and packaging; otherwise, additional charges may be applied. Unfortunately, we cannot take returns of products that have been assembled or modified. We will provide a refund or exchange the product due to a manufacturing defect after reviewing the product.

Additionally, certain products cannot be returned because neither we nor our vendors can take them back; this will be clearly marked on the product's sale page. If you have any questions about whether a product can be returned, please contact us.

 

How and where to return an item

Please contact us before returning an item. To return an item, simply indicate the reason for your return on your invoice, include the invoice with your return and wrap the package securely. For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS or Insured Parcel Post.

If you do not have an invoice copy, please indicate your name, address, order number and reason for the return on a separate piece of paper.

The address that you return the item to is often the same address that the package originally came from, which is directly from our vendor. Please note that you cannot return items to the Four Green Steps business address, and we cannot be held responsible for returned items that do not arrive at our vendor's facility.

 

Edible, Bottled and Perishable Products


We will happily correct any order that was incorrect, missing items, or accept your original order for return if the return is a result of our error. We are unable to exchange items that you have already used. Unless previously authorized by us via email, all claims relating to incorrect shipments must be made no later than 7 days after the items have been delivered.

Due to the nature of our products we are unable to accept any open items for return. Generally we will accept returns of unopened items up to no later than 14 days after the items have been delivered. Also please note that manufacturers frequently change their packaging on items found on our website. Such changes may reflect new branding but not necessarily new formulas or ingredients. If you have any questions about items you see that may have older packaging, contact us PRIOR to purchase so that we may answer any questions you have before you order.


Special Conditions

  • Animal Assistance Products - Final sale, no returns or refunds.
  • Amazon Discovery - Re-stocking fee of 15% as long as it is unused and in perfect condition.
  • Coco-Zen  - Returns are accepted only for items damaged in transit. Item must be returned within 7 days of receipt.
  • Golden Earth - Re-stocking fee of 25% as long as it is unused and in perfect condition.
  • Sleep & Beyond Organics - Re-stocking fee of 20% as long as it is unused and in perfect condition. No returns on private label or custom orders. Returned items must be shipped back via UPS or FedEx.
  • Battic Door - Returns accepted up to 30 days from date of purchase. Customer pays shipping both ways. Returns subject to 15% restocking.


Carbon Fume Control Products

If the carbon fume control products do not work within 4 hours you can return immediately. If it does not work the first 4 hours it will not work so there is no need to keep for 14 days.  You must return within 5 days intact and not torn or used we prefer to discuss mattresses and pillows or any large items like air purifier or water purifiers before charging you to make sure it is what you need and what you expect.

There is no return on used or opened bedding but air and water purifiers can be returned within 10 days. Again if they don’t work immediately then it’s not what you need and we are not interested in you using them for a month.
