New Competition

Reach for the Stars

Fivel and Booboo Stewart

Students will share their ideas for saving the environment to win a live chat session for their whole class with Four Green Steps’ celebrity ambassadors Booboo Stewart (Seth Clearwater of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn) and fashionista/singing sensation Fivel Stewart. This competition is open to students of all ages.

How to Enter

Create a picture, write a poem or a story, write and perform a song, make a video, (any medium) the sky is the limit the only limitation is your students or classes imagination! All submissions must address this question:
 
If you could do only one thing to make the planet healthier what would that be?

The Prize

The winning submission will be highlighted on Four Green Steps and Booboo and Fivel along with Four Green Steps president, Jaye Yarrow (who will mediate the session) will join your class or school assembly in a 20 minute Skype session where Booboo and Fivel will talk about the winning submission and then take questions from the students.

Important Dates

  • Contest opens for submissions starting January 4, 2012
  • Last day for submissions February 28, 2012
  • Winners announced March 19th
  • Skype session with Booboo & Fivel Stewart and the winning class/school assembly week of April 9th*(exact date to be determined with school)

All entries must have school contact information clearly written.

We have developed a curriculum comprised of various assignments that will entice students to use their creativity and imagination, learn sustainable habits, take initiative, and develop a sense of environmental responsibility – all while fostering a sense of community and interaction amongst students the world over.

Students will participate in a well organized international program that will make learning about the environment fun while giving them the opportunity to showcase their talents and educational prizes.
